TN SSLC Exam Pattern: The Tamil Nadu State SSLC Students who have given their Names to the Tamil Nadu Education Board through DGE official websites to write the Public Exams must ready to face the SSLC or 10th Class Public Exams with their proper Preparation. TN SSLC Exam Pattern 2020 (Scheme of Marks)
Recently, the TNDGE Education board has released SSLC Board Exam eligibility details, Online apply procedure along with the exam pattern on its official website. TN DGE Uniform Examination system in Tamil Nadu:
It is to be noted for the students studying in the 10th class and 12th class, the state Government will conduct the exam with the same question paper throughout the state. This System has launched on 1st Feb 2010. From the academic year 2010, the TN State SSLC Board has continued this Process without any Problems.
This latest System has implemented by the State Government of Tamil Nadu to Make the Uniform System of Government Education in Tamil Nadu (USGET) for all the students studying in Government, private, corporate Schools.
In the curriculum of the 10th class, the Subjects of SSLC Exams are English, Tamil, Social, Science, Maths, and Hindi. There are 3 Languages and 3 Subjects available in the SSLC Course. Each subject carries 100 marks and hence the total marks are 600. The pass marks for Each Individual Subject is 35 marks. So Students must get a minimum of 36 marks.
Students need to pass each subject with at least 35 Marks to get promoted to the next level Educations. Only Science subject has 2 parts such as Theoretical and Practical. The theory part consists of 75 marks and a practical exam consists of 25 marks.
Optional Language will allow depends on the Students Choice. Generally, Tamil Nadu State all Schools prefer Tamil, English and Hindi languages to teach to the Students.

Science: 75 for Theory and 25 for Practicals
Marks secured in Optional Language will not be taken into account for declaration of a Pass. There are 2 grades namely PASS and FAIL.

- The Students must Citizen of Tamil Nadu State.
- The minimum age limit of the applicant is 14 years.
- Students must have aadhar Card Issued by Central Government to apply for SSLC Exams.
TN DGE 10th class exam fees:
In order to apply for the SSLC Exams, students need to pay Rs 115 to the schools. Students can pay the fee directly to the School Examination Branch. And no need to Pay it online.
The examination fee includes the examination fees as well as the Marks certificate along with service charges. By the end of the application period schools need to remit this amount into Government account. Here is the distribution of the amount.
- Examination Fee: Rs.100
- Mark Certificate Fee: Rs.10
- Service Charges Fee: Rs.05
- Total: Rs.115
